Keeping the Faith When Times Are Hard
In these uncertain times, it feels like everything costs more—groceries, gas, even the basics of daily living. Tariffs and economic pressures are tightening belts across the country, and many in our community are feeling the strain. When money gets tight, stress and fear can easily follow. But even in the middle of rising prices and tough choices, God’s faithfulness does not change.
Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:19, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” This is not a promise of excess, but a reassurance of provision. God sees our struggles, and He walks with us through every high and low.
As a church family, we are called to lean on one another in love, prayer, and support. Now is the time to check in with neighbors, share resources where we can, and remind each other of God’s presence. Hard times test our faith—but they also deepen it. Every challenge is an invitation to trust God more fully.
So, keep the faith. Keep praying. Keep showing up for one another. Our God is still in control, and His grace is still sufficient.

Walking in the Power of the Resurrection
April is a month of victory, faith, and new possibilities. As we rejoice in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we are reminded that His triumph over death empowers us to live with boldness and purpose. At CN Jenkins, we embrace this season as a time to walk confidently in the power of the risen Savior.
Resurrection Sunday may mark the high point of our celebration, but the message of Christ’s resurrection continues to shape our daily lives. His victory is our victory, and we are called to live as people transformed by His grace—sharing His love, serving with joy, and trusting in His promises.

Marching Forward in Faith: A Season of Growth at CN Jenkins
As we step into the month of March, we embrace a season of renewal, reflection, and preparation. With spring on the horizon and Easter drawing near, this is a time to deepen our faith, serve our community, and strengthen our walk with Christ.
Lent reminds us to pause, pray, and realign our hearts with God’s purpose. Whether through fasting, acts of kindness, or daily devotion, we are called to draw closer to Him. At CN Jenkins, we encourage you to use this time to seek God’s presence, lean on His promises, and prepare your heart for the joy of the resurrection.
March is also a month of action. Just as the seasons change, we, too, are called to grow in our faith and service. The Power of Love: A Reflection for February
February is often associated with love, thanks to Valentine’s Day, but love is more than just romantic gestures and heart-shaped cards. As believers, we know that love is at the very core of our faith. The Bible reminds us in 1 Corinthians 13:13, “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
God’s Love: The Ultimate Example
True love begins with God. 1 John 4:19 tells us, “We love because He first loved us.” God’s love is unconditional, sacrificial, and eternal. The greatest display of love was Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, offering salvation to all. This February, let’s take time to reflect on God’s love and how it transforms our lives.
Loving One Another
Jesus commands us to love one another, saying in John 13:34, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” This love goes beyond words—it’s shown through kindness, patience, forgiveness, and service. Whether it’s with family, friends, or strangers, we are called to reflect Christ’s love in our daily interactions.
Self-Love and God’s Purpose
Loving others also means recognizing our own worth in Christ. We are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Self-love isn’t about selfishness, but about seeing ourselves the way God sees us—valued, cherished, and called for a purpose.
