The Fellowship Ministry began during the global pandemic of 2020 out of a commitment to serving our less fortunate neighbors. Members of the church began preparing bagged lunches to provide food for the homeless and those experiencing hardship during a time when our community was grappling to cope with the devastation of the COVID outbreak. Many had lost jobs, buried family members and were facing great uncertainty. The ministry’s goal is to not only provide people in our community with essential basics like food to eat and clothing, but we also offer spiritual food and prayer to those in need. The Fellowship Ministry has grown and continues to gather weekly at the church on Tuesdays at 10am to travel by van throughout the community in areas around the 28206 and 28216 zip codes to distribute bagged lunches, clothing, and other necessities for our neighbors.
